Equipment scale models for sales
Equipment scale models for sales put what would never fit into the rep’s suitcase. And they open the technical conversation at the client’s desk.

Selling what you cannot carry
An equipment scale model for sales is a 3D printed replica of what a company sells, so the rep can put on the desk what would never travel.
- It comes from the file engineering already keeps, to scale and painted.
- The rep carries it, shows it and leaves it in the client’s office.
- One for the meeting room or one per rep, all from the same file.
The whole machine, ready to travel
A sales model is designed for the suitcase and for the desk. Three decisions make that work. The drawing shows a filtration skid, and the same logic applies to any machine with delicate parts on show.
Illustrative drawing, not to scale. Each project comes from the client’s own file.
- Components where the design puts themTank, pump and panel in the position and proportion of the CAD, at the chosen scale.
- Removable fragile partsWhatever could break on the road comes off and slots back in at the client’s office.
- The machine’s coloursPaint in the product’s colours, so the client recognises what they are buying.

Where a sales model fits
Sales visits
The rep presents the whole machine on top of the client’s desk.
Technical proposals
The proposed configuration, printed, so the client can point at what changes.
Distributors and reps
One unit per rep, and the same presentation across the country.
Client meeting room
The piece stays after the visit and keeps selling.
From the file to the rep’s suitcase
The engineering review gives the lead time for each step, along with the quote.
File
The CAD in the configuration the team wants to show.
Engineering review
Scale, reinforcement and what comes off for travel.
Printing
FDM for the structure, SLA resin for visible detail.
Finishing
The machine’s colours, every unit matching the last.
Delivery
Ready for the first visit.
What changes lead time and cost
A sales model travels and is seen up close. These choices weigh on the quote, and the engineering review shows the effect of each one on the final figure.
- Scale
- A scale that fits the suitcase is usually enough. Beyond that, the piece has to be checked in.
- Units
- One per rep spreads the set-up across all of them, and the lead time grows with the batch.
- Visible detail
- Valves, fittings and panels in SLA resin cost more than an FDM structure.
- Travel reinforcement
- Removable parts and stronger fits add assembly work, and save repairs on the road.

Common questions
Can the model travel with the sales rep?
The piece is designed for transport: a rigid structure, fragile parts reinforced or removable. That is defined in the engineering review.
Can you make one unit per rep?
Yes. The approved file becomes the reference, and every unit comes off it with the same result.
Do you work with companies outside Brazil?
Yes. Production is in São Paulo and we ship to every country. The request and the engineering review happen remotely, by email or WhatsApp.
How do you show a large machine to a client without bringing it?
With a scale model made from the same engineering file. The rep puts the whole machine on the table, points at the components while talking, and leaves the piece in the client’s office after the visit. It works well alongside the catalogue and the video: they explain, the model stays.
Is the model true to the real machine?
It comes from the same engineering file: components sit in the position and proportion of the design, at the chosen scale. The print tolerance is in the spec sheet on this page.
What sets the price?
How many units, and how they travel. One per rep spreads the set-up across all of them; a piece that gets checked in needs a bigger scale and more reinforcement. If the budget is fixed, say so in the request: the engineering review shows which scale and how many units fit it, and what comes off for the trip.
Trade showThe scale piece goes to the booth instead of the real machine.
TrainingThe machine that cannot stop goes into the classroom, cut open.
Sales visitThe rep carries in a suitcase what would never fit in one.
Want your machine on the client’s desk?
Send the machine file. The engineering review comes back within 24 business hours, with feasibility, material and lead time.
