Tesseract 3D

What an industrial scale model is for

Many companies arrive without knowing exactly what to ask for. Start from what the piece is for: there are four uses, and each has its own page.

Four uses, one process

Tesseract 3D is an industrial 3D printing company in São Paulo, Brazil, that makes training miniatures, corporate keychains and gifts, trade show scale models and equipment scale models for sales. Everything starts from the client’s own file, printed in FDM and SLA resin at ±0.1 mm tolerance and shipped to every country.

Training, gifts, trade shows and sales look like different requests, but they come from the same place: the file engineering already has. That is why each use page follows the same order: what it is, how it works inside, what drives the cost and what to send.

Which of these is your question?

Pick the one closest to your request. The answer points to the right page. If none fits, the band at the end of the page takes you to a quote.

The question behind your request

Pick a question and the answer shows up here.

You need a training miniature: cut open, with parts that come out and go back in.

You need a corporate gift: a keychain, desk piece or award made from your file.

See gifts

You need a trade show model: booth scale, a finish for spotlights and a date to hit.

See trade shows

You need a sales model: the whole machine, to scale, ready to travel.

The four solutions

Each page has the anatomy of the piece, a spec sheet, common questions and what to send with your request.

Engineering recommends the material, scale and finish in the review.

Sell more

The whole machine, to scale, on the desk of the person who signs off the purchase.

No CAD file?

Photos from several angles and the main measurements also work. The engineering review tells you what can be done with them.

The four side by side

The same process, different goals. What matters most in each one changes what the engineering review looks at first.

Manufacturers that have printed with Tesseract

  • Scale models of a water treatment plant on a booth table at Fenasucro: the ultrafiltration rack and the reverse osmosis skid, with the show lights behind.
    Trade show

The scale piece goes to the booth instead of the real machine.

  • An exhibitor holds a cutaway model of a control valve and shows the inside to a small group in the booth aisle.
    Training

The machine that cannot stop goes into the classroom, cut open.

  • A hand presents cutaway models of safety valves next to the process diagram on the booth wall.
    Sales visit

The rep carries in a suitcase what would never fit in one.
