Work at Tesseract
A file comes in and a physical part goes out, by a date someone promised a customer. If you like solving problems at the bench, we’d like to meet you.
Where we usually hire
Between the file and the delivery there is preparation, material choice, a fleet of 50+ printers to keep running, and checking. None of it happens on its own.
Modelling
When a customer sends photos and measurements instead of CAD, someone turns them into a model that can be printed.
Model preparation
Taking the customer’s file and making it printable: mesh repair, splitting into modules, scale and orientation. A lot of a part’s problems get solved here.
Print operation
Setting up and watching the printers: material profiles, first-layer adhesion, and spotting a failure before it costs hours of machine time.
Application engineering
Reading the order, talking to whoever designed the part and sending back the engineering review: feasibility, material, scale and lead time. Half engineering, half customer service.
How we hire
There is no hiring round open all year. The operation grows, a role opens when it opens, and your CV stays on file until then.
CV
By email, with the area you’re interested in.
Conversation
To understand what you have done so far.
Practical test
A real case from the operation, at the bench.
Reply
You always hear back, even when the role closes.
Send your CV, even if no role is open
We keep it and get in touch when a role opens. And we reply, even if it’s to say there is nothing open right now.
What to send
- The area: modelling, preparation, operation or application engineering.
- The city where you live.
- A portfolio link, if you have one: a printed part or a model says more than a description.
- Your CV, attached to the email itself.
